Free Ocean Safety & Awareness Information Sessions
In the wake of recent drownings on and near the Gold Coast we are offering FREE information sessions to help people identify the safest areas for swimming and surfing on our beaches.
We want to share our knowledge of the ocean to give people the ability to be able to read the conditions and improve peoples ocean awareness and safety. If you swim at the beach, especially outside of the patrolled hours, you should have the ability to identify the safest areas for swimming.
We really want to see less drownings on the Gold Coast and a little information can go a long way, so if you are interested in finding out more please feel free to get in touch!
Please note there is NO SURFING in these free information sessions! From the sand dunes our instructors will provide you with information only about how to identify the safest areas for swimming and surfing.
Meeting spot for all lessons
All lessons meet at our surf van! (Pictured) We are currently parked opposite ‘1/5 Broadbeach Boulevard, Broadbeach’. This is where conditions are currently best within our permit area.
Since we are mobile, we like to park as close as possible to where conditions are best within our permit area in Broadbeach. Our permit extends from Australia Ave to Wharf Road.
